If I Were You(Inside Out Trilogy #1)

What can I say about this book that hasn't already been said. Probably nothing. I loved it. I loved the characters and their interactions with one another. Lisa Renee Jones really knows how to pull you into the story. I felt as though I was a voyeur peeking into their lives or reading Sara's journal as she has been doing with Rebecca's.

It made me feel...everything. Every sensation that Sara experienced, every doubt, every insecurity, and every ounce of sexual tension and awareness that she felt while reading the journals and when around both Mark and Chris. I forgot to mention her fear of the unknown and the real fear that Rebecca is in danger and she may be also.

Most of all I felt needy.

I need to know what happened to Rebecca. I need to know what the undercurrent is between Mark and Chris. I need to know if one, both, or neither of them is the man/men in Rebecca's journal. I need to know who Sara will end up with, if either.

This is definitely worth the read and is a great erotic romance without being vulgar.

First Grave on the Right(Charley Davidson #1)
By Darynda Jones

Great Debut   June 29, 2013   Report Abuse

This is one of the hardest reviews to write, because I really didn't know what to say without giving the plot away. Just saying I loved it wouldn't be good enough either.

When I grow up I want to be just like Charley Davidson, lol.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be a Grim Reaper. I want to be able to wield my words and use sarcasm the way she does. Plus, she is a very smart women and can hold her own.

We need more heroines like this. I laughed so hard. I think that this was the easiest book to read, because once I started I didn't want to stop.

The world building was great and we got enough info about Charley's gift to satisfy, but keep us intrigued enough to want to know more, because we know there is more. We as readers get to go on this journey of discovery along with her, because their are things about herself that she doesn't even know yet.

Reyes Farrow and Garret Swopes are the men that is in her orbit, and I am going to enjoy finding out if at the end of the day she ends up with either of them. Yes, right now she is more partial to one over the other, but you never know.

I don't want to leave Cookie out. She is Charley's best friend and I hope along the way she gets to have a romance also.

As for the rest, I love that she is the basically not quite human being, but she still has to deal with all of the drama the rest of us do, just on a larger scale. Hey, we don't have the added job of helping the dead cross over.

To Tame a Highland Warrior (Highlander #2)

Reread

I love this book, this author, this series.

Of course we know Grimm from Beyond the Highland Mist, and this book we got to get his HEA.

Jillian has been in love with Grimm ever since she was a kid, but he left her years ago. Now her parents feel its time for her to finally get married, so they send for three men whom they think will challenge her. Grimm of course is one of those men.

Grim/Gavrael has vowed to never get married, because of what he is and how their are people hunting him because of it, but his feelings for Jillian shakes his resolve.

The journey to their HEA is often hilarious and filled with a lot of will clashing. They are both strong willed and they both know what they want.

Another good thing is we get to see what's going on with Hawk and Adrienne.
