Safe for young adults. Middle school and up!
Typical YA Dystopian novel. Nothing flashy or unique. Worth reading if you can grab it at the library.

Good Young Adult Dystopian Book   August 29, 2013   Report Abuse
By xxbyamomentx   This is my only review so far.
Matched is a great young adult genre book for those interested in reading about dystopian themes. The future government the novel creates does everything for their people - provides their meals, tells them who they will fall in love with, when they can marry, when to have children - and one day, they make a mistake. The protagonist, Cassia, will have to make choices for herself and decide whether or not to rise against Society, the name of their oppressive government. If you choose to read this book, be aware that it is a series of three and they may be fairly long books for someone looking for a quick summer read.
